Printing
We provide a high quality digital printing service for one-off or low volumes of prints. We can print from digital image files (these should be sent on CD saved as JPEG or TIFF files at 300 ppi), from slides and from colour or black and white negatives. We use Epson UltraChrome K3 inks to print in colour or black and white on Epson paper in a variety of paper surfaces from high gloss to matt finish. We can print sizes up to A3+.
As part of our printing services we optimise the contrast and brightness of images. We can correct other problems with images using digital image processing. This is a separate service and is described in the Services section of this website under Restoration.
We can produce montages of photographs to create a single image. This is a great way of producing photographs for an album or to make a large composite image as a gift for a birthday or wedding anniversary. Prints are available in 10in x 8in, A4, 12in x 10in, A3, 16in x 12in and A3 sizes.
Prices
We charge £25 per hour to prepare montages. A single montage is unlikely to take more than 30 minutes to prepare. Our standard print charges apply for prints we make from montages. These are set out in the Prices section of this website.
