Restoration
We specialise in restoring photographs using digital image processing techniques. We work from original photographs, 35mm negatives and slides and from digital image files (preferably 300 ppi JPEG or TIFF sent to us on CD). The examples here show colouring a monochrome image, restoring a badly damaged and discoloured image, cleaning up a faded and dirty photograph and editing a digital image to remove distracting elements from the original photograph.
Prices
We charge £25 per hour for restoration work. As each picture is in a different condition we will provide a quote for any restoration work. Most images will require less than 30 minutes work. We will proivde one 6in x 4in unmounted print free of charge for each picture we restore. If you want larger prints or mounted prints these will be charged for at our normal print prices.
